Here’s how it works:
Part of creating change requires that we talk to, engage and mobilize people to learn more, get involved or take action on issues that impact their health. Here are some general activities you may want to include in your health action campaigns to begin creating change.
- Host a presentation, event or contest at school or within your community
- Get creative: Use art to inspire change in your peers and the community
- Be a leader in your school and/or community, recruit others to participate, speak to decision makers and continue to learn and build new skills
- Utilize the media: The media can be a powerful vehicle when advocating for change in your community
